The Qantas Hastings Deering stairs, like the Clarktor tug also donated by Qantas, is a working exhibit. In addition to providing a popular location for fashion and wedding photographers, the stairs also serve as an elevated viewing platform for Museum visitors, enabling dramatic overhead views of the aircraft in Hangar 2.Photo: Ron Cuskelly
