This photograph of an IMA Towed Glider Mk2 is from the Australian War Memorial collection. It is dated January-February 1953 and captioned as follows.

"Pilots and ground staff of 78 Fighter Wing RAAF drag in an aerial glider which was the only target that pilots failed to shoot down during air to air gunnery exercises. The target was riddled with at least 130 holes but failed to break away from the Beaufighter that was towing it. Members of the Wing, while stationed in Malta, were attending an armament practice camp at the RAF station in Cyprus. "
