BCPA's first DC-6 to be handed over was VH-BPF which is seen
here at Santa Monica, probably on 19 November 1948 with (left to right)
Captain A.A. Barlow (BCPA), Per Norlin (SAS), Sir Arthur Coles (BCPA
Chairman), J.W. Clynes (Douglas) and John Watkins (TAA - Technical Adviser
to BCPA). The only markings on the aircraft at the time of delivery
were the registration on the fin and Douglas DC-6 under the cockpit.
