Lieutenant Walter
Seidel photographed with General Douglas MacArthur's C-47 VH-CXE. This C-47
replaced the DC-3 which also carried the radio call-sign VHCXE. The first
VHCXE is now preserved at the Queensland Air Museum as VH-ANR. Walter Seidel
flew both aircraft during his tour of duty in Australia.  Photo:
