This photograph depicts
the C-47 "Shiny Shiela" (C-47A-20-DL 41-23421 c/n 9283) which was the second
GHQ aircraft to carry the CXE call-sign. The name and accompanying artwork
have already been removed. Frank Cicerello was the radio operator on this
aircraft and he recalls that his attempts at pronouncing CXE gave rise to
the name "Sexy", although this name was never painted on the aeroplane.
