Chipmunk VH-RVV after its forced landing near Moorabbin on 6 February 1965. At the time of the accident, photographer Neil Follett was airborne in Chipmunk VH-RVJ when the tower asked any aircraft departing from runway 35 to check on an aircraft that had gone down off the end of the runway. Immediately after landing, Neil went to the site to take this photograph. There he observed that the aircraft had come to rest in a clump of blackberries and that the only casualty was one dead rabbit.Photo: Neil Follett
