Caribou A4-173 once again wears the U.S. Army 'star and bars' in commemoration of her first escape in Vietnam. During repairs in the field at Hai Yen in May 1965, the aircraft was fitted with a replacement starboard wing provided by the U.S. Army and thus the aeroplane was flown briefly in dual RAAF/U.S. Army markings.
