    Bruce Buckley of Coffs Harbour had an interest in Burnett Airways and VH-MBX was used as a backup aircraft for Burnett Airways' Navajo VH-PNK but the Aztec never carried Burnett Airways titles. During this period, the Aztec was also used by Crowley Airways (PNG) before returning to its owner.
