Queensland Air Museum
holds an Anson which was long thought to be MG390 although it is now believed
to be MG222. This is supported by the fact that the Military and Historical
Aircraft Collection at Greenock, South Australia hold an Anson claimed
to be MG390. This collection is owned by Lincoln Nitschke. The following
chronology refers to MG222. |

Update: Fuselage: Frame sandblasted and painted. Estimated 80% of fittings and fixtures restored and fitted. Stored in Brisbane. Wings: Front and rear spars built new in composite aluminium and wood, in three sections each. Stored in Caloundra awaiting assembly space. Tail: Rudder restored ready for fabric. Tailplane restoration begun. |
